Huey James

Services for Huey C. James, 56, of Winnfield, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in
Sardis Baptist Church with the Revs. Danny Keys, T. E. Williams, and Earl
Hartsel officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

Mr. James died Tuesday, November 20, 1979 in the VA Hospital in Alexandria
after a long illness.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Audrey James of Winnfield; two sons, Marlon
James and Steve James, both of Winnfield; a daughter, Mrs. Marsha Canerday of
Calvin; two brothers, Troy James and A. C. James, both of Atlanta; four
sisters, Mrs. Sybil Guilliams and Mrs. Hazel Roberts, both of Winnfield, Mrs.
Vernell Poisso and Mrs. Thelma Horn, both of Atlanta; and five grandchildren.
