Sister Mary James Succumbs; Rites Held December 30

Funeral services for Sister Mary Etta McWright James of Winnfield were held
Thursday, December 30, 1971, at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with
Rev. E. G. Hines, pastor of the church, officiating.

Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Winnfield.

Sister James died December 26, 1971.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Julia Ann Bowie McWright; her husband, Mr.
Dempsey Henry James; a daughter, Miss Henrietta James; two brothers, Mr.
Clarence McWright of Alexandria and Cleothia McWright of Houston, Texas; two
sisters, Mrs. Clara Mae Turner and Miss Lenora McWright, both of Winnfield;
nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
