Mose Jennings Succumbs; Buried April 10 At Sardis

Final rites for W. M. "Mose" Jennings, 88, who died in a Winnfield hospital
April 10 were held April 11 at 3 p.m. at the Sardis Baptist Church with
the Rev. Henry Fox, Rev. E. B. Barton and Rev. L. G. Shaw officiating.  Burial
was in the Old Sardis (Brown) Cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were H. A. Cogley, Roy Dickerson, E. J. Dickerson, Lester
Dickerson, Murdock Anders, and Rufus Jennings.

A native of Alabama, the deceased had been a resident of Grant Parish for
about 35 years.

He is survived by one son, Elzie Jennings, and one brother, Perry Jennings,
both of Montgomery, and one sister, Miss Pe_____ Jennings of Atlanta.
