B. Jennings of Glenmora,, died at a hospital in Lecompte about 10 o'clock Monday night, September 6, 1926 from injuries received in an automobile accident near Forest Hill Sunday night. Mrs. Jennings, her husband, and two children were riding on the highway near Forest Hill when they had a head on collision with a coupe of a large make which was supposed to have come from Bunkie. The names of the occupants of the car could not be learned Tuesday morning. The Jennings car was turned over pinning Mrs. Jennings under it and crushing her chest. She was taken to a sanitarium in Lecompte in a very serious condition which resulted in her death. Mrs. Jennings before her marriage was Miss Eula Mae Patrick, daughter of Mrs. L. A. Patrick of Glenmora, and sister to Mrs. R. L. Tannehill, Jr. of our city. The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock in Glenmora. She is survived by her husband and two small children, her mother, Mrs. Patrick, and several brothers and sisters.
