Luther Jenkins Dies Suddenly; Last Rites July 15

Funeral services for Luther G. Jenkins, 56, were held at 3 p.m. July 15, 1960,
at Harmony Grove Baptist Church near Dodson with the Rev. E. B. Barton
officiating.  Burial was in the Harmony Grove Cemetery under direction of
Edmonds Funeral Home.

Jenkins died unexpectedly late Tuesday in a Winnfield hospital following a
heart attack.  He was a state department of highways employee.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bertha Mae Kelly Jenkins of Dodson; one
half-brother, Huey Bishop, Sherman, Texas; two half sisters, Ms. Sarah Potter
of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Alice Carroll of Sherman, Texas.
