Burial For Mrs. Lou Jenkins At Beech Creek

Mrs. Lou Jenkins, 69, of Olla, died Thursday, March 9, 1972 in a Jena nursing
home after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Jenkins was a native of the Beech Creek community.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Standard Baptist Church
with the Rev. James Simon, Rev. Preston Tibbet, and Rev. Clarence Weatherford,
officiating.  Burial was in the Beech Creek Cemetery of Olla.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mavis Boyd, Mrs. Dolly Bailey of Olla,
Mrs. Maxwell Smith of Sikes, Mrs. Mary Lou Young of Urania; one son, Albert
Jenkins of Sikes; six sisters, Mrs. Myrtle McKeithen of Alexandria, Mrs. Clara
Belle Morgan of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Ercie Morgan and Mrs. Lottie Costello,
both of Oak Grove, Mrs. Maude Beason of Kilbourne; one brother, Leon Cupit
of Pioneer; 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
