Funeral Held For W. J. Jenkins, Former Winn Man

Funeral services for W. J. Jenkins, a former Winn Parish resident and brother
in law of Mrs. B. L. Upton, Sr., of Winnfield, Route 1, were held December 25,
following his death in a Winnsboro hospital.  He was 59 (?, maybe 54).

Services were in the Moss Arbor Assembly of God Church in Crowville with
burial in Crowville Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Essie James Jenkins, three daughters, five
sons, five sisters, and seven brothers.

Attending the funeral from Winn were Mrs. B. L. Upton, Sr., of Winnfield, Rt.
4, Mrs. W. ?. Newsom of Wren Acres, and Mrs. Homer Jordan of Route 4.
