From Atlanta

Mrs. G. W. Jennings, age 84 years and 8 months, died at her home in Atlanta
Saturday, December 5, at 4 p.m. after an illness of about three months.  Owing
to her advanced years and the continued illness death was not unexpected to
her immediate family.

Mrs. Jennings was one of the pioneer settlers of this parish having moved here
with her family from Alabama many years ago.  She is survived by three sons
and one daughter, D. M. and W. M. Jennings of Atlanta, and Perry Jennings of
Montgomery, and Miss Pernie Jennings of Atlanta.

Interment was in the Sardis Cemetery Sunday.
