Mrs. Mose Jennings, 74, of Montgomery, Dies Wednesday

Funeral for Sister of Three Winnfield Residents Today


Funeral services will be conducted at the Sardis Baptist Church at 11 a.m.
today for 
Mrs. Betty B. Jennings, 74, of Montgomery, who died Wednesday.  the Rev.
Alwin Stokes, pastor of the Winnfield Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. H.
J. Mott, pastor of Laurel Heights Baptist Church, will officiate, and
interment will be in the Old Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Hixon
Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jennings was born in Alabama on November 11, 1874.  She is survived
by her husband, Mose Jennings; a son, Elzie Jennings, of Winnfield; a
brother, Jim Dickerson of Winnfield, and a sister, Mrs. Mattie Williams of
Winnfield.

The body will remain at the family residence in Montgomery until the time
of the funeral.
