B. F. Jeter, 89, Succumbs; Rites At Zion Hill

B. F. Jeter, Sr., 89, of Dodson, died Friday, October 2, 1970, in the
Winnfield General Hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Zion Hill Baptist
Church with the Rev. Billy Smithart officiating.  Burial was in the Zion Hill
Cemetery near Winnfield.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Laura Jeter of Dodson; five sons, Madison
Jeter and B. S. Jeter, both of Shreveport, Grover Jeter and Felton Jeter, both
of Dodson, and Edgar Jeter of Olla; one sister, Mrs. Sallie Spillers of
Pineville; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
