Last Rites For Harrison Jeter Held June Third

Last rites for Harrison H. Jeter, 67, of Route Four, Winnfield, were held
Sunday, June 3, 1945, following his death at a hospital in Shreveport June 1.

Funeral services were held at Zion Hill at 10 o'clock with Rev. Alwin Stokes
officiating.  Interment was in the Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction
of Southern Funeral Home.

At the time of his death Mr. Jeter was making his home with his sister, Mrs.
R. L. Harvey of Route 4, Winnfield.  He was a member of the Zion Hill Church.

Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Harvey, Mrs. Geneva Hancock, Route 1, Dodson;
Mrs. Etta Womack, Rt. 1, Dodson; Mrs. Bessie Rolen, Rt. 3, Winnfield; and Mrs.
Sally Spillers of Alexandria.  He leaves also one brother, Frank Jeter of
Winnfield.
