J. F. Bonnette, 40, native of Ward 10, Winn Parish, died in a Tecumseh,
Michigan hospital June 15 following a short illness.  He was a painter by
trade.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 19, at 2:30 p.m. at the Goldonna
Assembly of God Church with Rev. Edgar Gunter officiating.  Burial was in the
Evergreen Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie and Billy Bonnette of Michigan; two
brothers, Lloyd Bonnette of Goldonna and Marshal Bonnette of Denver, Colo.;
three sisters, Mrs. Opal Smith and Mrs. Glennie Mae Harper, both of Sears,
Calif., and Mrs. Leo Moore of Shreveport.
