THE WINNFIELD-NEWS AMERICAN Friday, June 24, 1938 Final Rites Held For Mrs. J. Jeter Who Died Sunday Final rites for Mrs. Jenny Fox Jeter, 82, pioneer citizen of Winn parish, were held Sunday at the Zion Hill church by the Rev. O. L. Hughes. Mrs. Jeter died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Womack in Zion Hill. Mrs. Jeter was an early settler in the community and was active in Zion Hill church affairs. Surviving the deceased are, six daughters, Mrs. J. M. Womack, Mrs. R. F. Hancock of Gaars Mill; Mrs. Tom Blackman and Mrs. Gene Spillers of Alexandria; Mrs. Dock Harvey and Mrs. Sam Rolen; two sons, Frank Jeter and Harrison Jeter.
