Mrs. Bertha Jones of Wheeling Dies, Last Rites Today

Funeral services will be held at the Atlanta Methodist Church at 10 a.m. today
(Friday) for Mrs. Bertha Jones, 56, of Wheeling community, who died at her
home August 22, following a lengthy illness.  Rites will be conducted by the
Rev. Paul Lawson, assisted by the Rev. Guins, and interment will follow in the
Atlanta cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones was born in Texas on Nov. 2, 1894.  She is survived by her husband,
C. V. Jones; a son, Elmer Jones of Atlanta; one daughter, Mrs. Vera Sue Lovell
of Atlanta; two brothers, W. A. Carrico of Newton and W. E. Carrico of
Montgomery, Texas; a sister, Mrs. T. E. Jennings of Houston, Texas, and two
grandchildren.

She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Montgomery.
