Diphtheria Claims Life of Johnson Child

Diphtheria claimed the life of Deloy Johnson, 19 month old son of Mr. and Mrs.
J. Johnson who resided in the Sanders community near Calvin.  The child died
in a Shreveport hospital Friday afternoon and funeral services were held
Sunday afternoon.  Interment was in a cemetery near Coushatta.

Surviving besides the parents are two young brothers, Aubry and Floyd Johnson,
and the grandmothers, the maternal being Mrs. Henry Neal of Dodson.
