Dr. G. E. Johnson

The body of Dr. G. E. Johnson, of Montgomery, who was killed Thursday in an
automobile accident at Dayton, Tennessee, arrived in Shreveport Saturday
morning and was sent Saturday afternoon by the Wellman Undertaking Company to
Montgomery.  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in Montgomery and
interment was in the family cemetery at Wheeling.  Mr. Johnson was reared in
Natchitoches and Winn Parishes and practiced medicine in Rhea County, Tenn.
for 17 years.  He is survived by the widow, Nattie Kimball (Nettie Kimbrell)
Johnson and a 12 year old daughter, Edwina; three sisters, Mrs. O. L. Young,
Natchitoches, Mrs. H. C. Kimball, Montgomery, and Mrs. J. E. Covington,
Shreveport; two brothers, D. E. and Clint Johnson.
