Burial For Mrs. Johns Held At Transport

Mrs. Lillie F. Johns, 92, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, August 23, 1977.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Edmunds Funeral Home Chapel
with the Revs. Danny Stevenson and Ross Robinson officiating.  Burial was in
Transport Cemetery, near Dodson.

Survivors include one son, W. P. Johns of Alexandria; five daughters, Mrs.
Lenora Warner of Odessa, Tex., Mrs. Adra Young of Sikes, Mrs. Frankie Mize
of Downsville, Mrs. Mamie Potts of Jonesboro, and Mrs. Erline McBride of
Hodge; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.
