Guy C. Johnson, Former Resident, Dies in Shreveport

Funeral services for Guy C. Johnson, 78, of 3005 Milton St., Shreveport were
held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 4, in Roseneath Funeral Home Chapel.  The
Rev. Herman L. Cain, pastor of Westview Christian Church, officiated and
burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson died at 1230 a.m. Sunday in Schumpert Sanitarium following a brief
illness.

A former resident of Winnfield, Mr. Johnson was an employee of Louisiana
Highway Department for many years.  His wife, Mrs. Bernice Eagles Johnson,
preceded him in death.

Survivors include one daughter, five brothers, one sister, and one grandchild.
