I. L. Johns, Winn Native, Dies In Texas

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Bethlehem Baptist
Church near Winnfield for Ivy Leland Johns, 49, of Austin, Texas.

He was a native of Winn Parish.

Conducting the services were the Rev. Danny Allen and the Rev. Leroy Land. 
Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

Mr. Johns was an employee of a railroad company.

He died Sunday, November 25, 1973 at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin after a
lengthy illness.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. W. C. Johns of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs.
Bernice Guyton of Dickinson, Tex., a number of nieces and nephews.
