Mrs. Johns Dies; Burial At Cypress Creek

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie S. Johns, 81, of Joyce, were held at 11 a.m.
Thursday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home here with Revs. Bert Beams
and Jimmy Yocum officiating.

Burial was in Cypress Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Johns died Wednesday, April 16, 1975 at 4 a.m. at her residence after
a short illness.

She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at Womack.

Survivors include two sons, Kermit Johns of Tannehill and James Earl
Johns of Joyce; two daughters, Mrs. Julius Gorham of Winnfield and Mrs. James
Franklin of Joyce; eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and two
great great grandchildren.
