Mrs. Bertha Johnston Is Buried February 20

Mrs. Bertha Johnston, 81, of West Monroe, died Feb. 18 in a West Monroe
hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Sikes Baptist Church with
the local pastor officiating.  Burial was in County Line Cemetery.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Henry Thornhill and Mrs. Harvey Beaver,
Pineville; Mrs. Velma Roan and Mrs. Bill Lawrence, West Monroe; two brothers,
J. T. Martin, Jonesboro, and D. J. Martin, Houston, Texas; one sister, Mrs. A.
C. Johnston, Ruston.
