Mrs. J. D. M. Johnson Is Laid To Rest At Lilleville October 30

Funeral services for Mrs. J. D. M. Johnson, a former Winn Parish resident, who
died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bennette Adams near Winnsboro, were
held October 30 at Lillieville, conducted by the Rev. Tom Ratcliff, pastor of
the Olla church.

Mrs. Johnson held membershipo in the Zion Hill, Winn Parish, Baptist church,
near where she had lived until she moved about two years ago to Winnsboro to
make her home.  She had been ill several weeks but her condition did not
become serious until a very short time before her death.

She is survived by her husband, J. D. M. Johnson, and six children, Mrs.
Nennette Anders, Winnsboro, Mrs. Andy White, Colfax, Mrs. Wyley Hammnons,
Winnfield, Mrs. Fred Mercer, Pollock, Miss Bessie Johnson, Natchitoches, and
Morgan Johnson, Pollock.
