Funeral Rites For Mrs. Addie Johnson Held

Mrs. Addie Johnson, 66, of  Winnfield, died Friday, March 26, 1971.

Mrs. Johnson was the widow of the late Lee Johnson, Veteran of World War
I, who was honored by having his name used as a party of the name of the
local V. F. W. Post Home, a member of the First Presbyterian Church for
approximately 50 years, a member of the Women of the Church and a Sunday
School teacher.  She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the
Payne-Johnson V. F. W. Post Home.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Presbyterian
Church with the Rev. Robert Gage officiating.

Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Southern
Funeral Home.

Survivors include a brother, L. C. Whatley of Winnfield, and several
nieces and nephews.
