The Winn Parish Enterprise, Winnfield LA, 26 Oct 1950
Mrs. Nannie Johnson, 77, died Monday, October 23, at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Martha Ashworth, at Joyce.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Zion Hill Church with 
Rev. J. H. Rhymes and Rev. W. C. Bounds officiating. Interment was in the Zion 
Hill Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was a 
member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, A. C. Johnson and Richard Johnson, both of Winnfield; 
three daughters, Mrs. Pecola Lobb and Mrs. Leona Butler, both of Orange, 
Texas, and Mrs. Martha Ashworth of Joyce; 21 grandchildren and seven great 
grandchildren.

Nannie married David William "Dave" JOHNSON on 25 Nov 1895 in Ouachita Parish 
LA.
