Jolly A resident of Gansville for the past forty-five years, William T. Jolly, 83 year old farmer, died at his home in that community Tuesday, after several months of ill health. Mr. Jolly was born in Georgia and came to Winn Parish in 1888 and settled in Ward Four where he spent the remainder of his life. He had been a member of the Gansville Baptist Church for 45 years. During his residence in Ward Four he served as justice of the peace. In 1899 he married Mrs. Jennie Barnes Parkman and they had one son, Orbrey, who died in 1924. Mr. Jolly is survived by his widow, three children by a former marriage, a step-daughter, Mrs. Dora Grissom of Lake Charles, three brothers, and a number of nieces and nephews, among them, Mrs. A. L. Smith of Winnfield. Funeral services were held at the Gansville Church Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock with the Rev. John L. Dodge, Baptist minister in charge. Pallbearers were W. P. Kelly, Bryant Sholars, A. L. Smith, J. B. Milam, Sr., B. F. Temple, and W. D. Temple.
