Marion Jones Funeral Set For Thursday, August 14

Marion James Jones, 62, died at 12 p.m. August 12, at Confederate Memorial
Hospital, Shreveport.  A native of Winnfield, Mrs. Jones was in the sawmill
business.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 14, at Pleasant Hill
Baptist Church under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.  Interment was in
the Allen Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Selma Jones of Winnfield; one son, Marsall
Jones of Lake Charles; three daughters, Mrs. C. W. Bilyeu, Winnfield, Mrs. L.
C. Franks, Winnfield, and Mrs. Milam Lowe, Calvin; also two brothers, Clarence
Jones, Tullos, and Davis Jones, Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Hallie Kennedy,
Mrs. Queenie Jordan, of Winnfieldl, and Mrs. Lucy Cunningham of Calif.; also
three grandchildren.
