Last Rites For Virgil Jones, 66, To Be Held Friday

Willie Virgil Jones, 66, retired employee of the Tremont & Gulf Railway, died
in a Winnfield hospital at 6 p.m. February 13, 1963, after an illness of eight
years.  He was a resident of 201 Marsh Street, Winnfield.

Mr. Jones was a native of Jonesboro and had resided in Winnfield since 1945.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and attended East Winnfield Baptist
Church.

Last rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel with Dr. W. L. Holcomb and Rev. C. C. Martin officiating.  Burial will
be in the Sikes Cemetery with Masonic rites at the graveside.

Mrs. Jones is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Wall Jones, Winnfield; two sons,
Willie Virgil Jones, Jr., of West Monroe, and Bobby F. Jones, Great Lakes,
Ill.; and five grandchildren.
