Colored Deaths

Dettie Jones

Dettie Jones, 69, colored, died at her home in McDonald Bottom, March 24,
1956, from a heart attack.  Funeral services were held March 27 at the Mt.
Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. J. W. Huey officiating.  Burial was in the
Union Hill Cemetery.  Dettie Jones was a native of Montgomery.

Surviving are her husband, Maurice Jones, Winnfield; parents, Zife and Ben
Prescott; one son, Cliff King, Sr.; six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
