Mrs. R. D. Jones Dies Tuesday In Baptist Hospital

Mrs. Ethel W. Jones, wife of R. D. Jones of the Hudson community, died in the
Baptist Hospital, Alexandria, Tuesday, May 26, 1946, following a three week's
illness.

Funeral arrangements under direction of Southern Funeral Home, will be made
upon arrival of the deceased's brother from the Navy.

Mrs. Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Womack of East Winnfield, was
born in Winn Parish October 23, 1906, and has lived her entire life in this
parish.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving besides her husband and parents is one son, DeWitt.  She also leaves
four brothers, Arthur Womack, Sikes; Bill Womack, Oak Grove; Ted Womack, U. S.
Navy; and Earl Womack, East Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Brister,
Sikes; and Mrs. Vella Thomas, East Winnfield.
