Frank M. Jones Succumbs After Brief Illness

Frank M. Jones, 81, died at 2 a.m. Monday, February 21, 1966 in a Winnfield
hospital, after a short illness.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Laurel Heights Baptist
Church, with the Rev. C. C. Martin officiating.

Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Southern
Funeral Home.

Jones, a retire farmer, was a native of Bienville and a member of the Laurel
Heights Baptist Church of Winnfield.

Survivors are his wife, Ethel Jones, a son, G. W. Jones of Winnfield; two
daughters, Mrs. Cliffie J. Weeks of Minden and Mrs. Erie J. Hutchinson of
Shreveport; a brother, Tom Jones of Winnfield; a sister, Lena J. Harlan of
Winnfield; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Chester Liles, Glen Smith, Mark Thompson, Troy Lynn Smith,
James Russell, and Al Lauret.
