Sister Of Area Residents Dies In Houston

Mrs. Mary V. Jones, 73, of Houston died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 1977 at
her home.  She was a native of Grant Parish, La.

Survivors include three sons; two daughters; three brothers, Jim Vercher of
Colfax, La., and Milton Vercher and Wash Vercher, both of Montgomery; one
sister; 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one great great
grandchild.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Southern, Winnfield,
La.  Burial was in Aloha Cemetery near Montgomery, La.
