Rabie Cole Jones

Services for Mrs. Rabie Cole Jones, 104, of Shreveport, Louisiana, were held
at 1:30 p.m. at Restland Chapel in Dallas, Texas with burial following
there in the Restland Cemetery.

She died Saturday, November 2, 1985, at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport
following an extended illness.

Mrs. Jones was a native of Atlanta, Texas, had lived for a number of years in
Deming, New Mexico, and was a resident for the past several years of a
Shreveport nursing home.  Also she had lived many years ago, prior to her
marriage, in Winnfield with her sisters, the late Misses Janie and Eva Cole.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Woody (Geraldine) Bell of Shreveport; one
son, Lloyd Jones of Dallas, Texas; two granddaughters, one grandson, and five
great grandchildren.  She is survived locally by two nieces, Misses Janie and
Ruth Wood; one nephew, John Richard "Dick" Cole; and two great nephews, W.
Donald Turner and Albert F. "Pete" Cole, all of Winnfield.
