The Southern Sentinel (Winnfield, LA), Thursday, February 16, 1905
DIED. — At his residence in ward seven of Winn parish, February 14, 1905, 
William T. Jones, aged 76 years, of paralysis.

Mr. Jones was one of Winn parish's oldest citizens, having moved here from 
Mississippi in the year 1856, and has resided in ward seven of this parish ever 
since that time.

Mr. Jones is the father of L. D. Jones of this city besides several other 
children who are prominent citizens of this parish. He was a consistent member 
of the Zion Hill church.

The remains were laid to rest in the Zion Hill grave yard Wednesday at 12 
o'clock.
