V. O. Jones

Funeral services for V. O. Jones were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Southern
Funeral Home Chapel.  Officiating was Rev. Don H. Boyett.  Burial was in the
Garden of Memories.

Mr. Jones, age 79, of Winnfield, died Wednesday, _____, 1996 in the Savoy
Medical Center in Mamou, La.  He was a native of Chestnut, La., a member of
Laurel Heights Baptist Church, and served as the custodian of the Winn Parish
Courthouse for 20 years.  He was a member of the Goldonna Masonic Lodge.

Survivors are his wife, Ruby Jones of Winnfield, La.; one son, Charles Jones
of Ft. Worth, Tx.; one daughter, Helen Boyett of Natchitoches, La.; one
sister, Adeline Williams of Keatchie, La.; five grandchildren and six great
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tommy Jones, Troy Jones, Dan Bowman, Dion Boyett, Koby
Boyett, and Gregg Davies.
