John H. Jones

Services for John Henry Jones were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 1995 in
the chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Wright, Jr.
Officiating.  Burial was in Winnfield Cemetery.

Jones, 62, of Winnfield died Monday, June 5, 1995, in his residence.

He was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Eloise Jones of Winnfield; six sons, Vernon Jones,
Michael Jones, and Jeremy Jones, all of Winnfield, Mitchell Jones of Norfolks,
Va., John Jones of Yokota, Japan, and Marcus Jones of Natchitoches; 13
daughters, Joan Madsen of Altadena, Calif., Deborah South of Leesville, Sandra
Lee and Vickie Jones, both of Shreveport, Shirley Ross of Jacksonville, Fla.,
Sadie Jones and Feleafia Jones, both of Monroe, Lolita Dagranfenread of
Aberdeen, Md., and Scarlette Bolds, Wendy Wilson, Sherry Jones, Resa Johnson,
and Lashunda Hobdy, all of Winnfield; five brothers, Exie Jones of Berkley,
Calif., Clinton Jones of Natchitoches, and Louis Jones, Palu Jones, and Robert
Jones, all of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Sondra Bryant and Gloria
Williams, both of Houston, Texas, and Landis Nargo of Alexandria, and 29
grandchildren.
