Obituary-Rosa Belle Warner Jones

Services for Rosa Belle Jones were held at 11 a.m. Saturday April 3, 1993 in
the chapel of Southern with the Rev. Bob Braly officiating. Burial was in
Harmony Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones, 96, of Winnfield died at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 1993 in Winn
Parish Medical Center.

She was born and reared in the Hudson Community to pioneer family of John and
Jane James Warner. In 1919, she married Osey Jones of the Gaars Mill Community
who preceded her in death in 1927. She was also preceded in death by her
sister, Mary Lou Warner and brother, Ira Warner.

In 1955 she moved to Winnfield where she enjoyed gardening and crafts until
becoming ill one year ago.

Mrs. Jones was a member of First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jones appreciated the faithful care that was given to her by Bobbie
Valley for nine years.

Survivors include four daughters, Eloise Folkes of Dallas, Texas, Hazel Gaar
of Baton Rouge, Eileen Thomas of Sarepta and Laverne Osborne of Broomfield; 12
grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons David Gaar, Gary Thomas, Richard Osborn, James
Osborn, John Osborn and Thomas Lofton.
