Funeral Rites For Walter Lee Jones Held

Funeral services for Walter Lee Jones, 56, of Urania were held at 2 p.m.
Thursday, January 1, 1970 in the Olla Church of God, Rev. E. W. Blow
officiating.

Burial was in the Olla Cemetery.

Jones died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 1969, at his residence. He was
a night watchman for Urania Lumber Company.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Jones of Urania; a son, David
C. Jones of Urania; four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Spruell, Patricia Jones,
Deliah Jones, and Dwana Jones, all of Urania; a brother, Cleve Jones of Olla;
three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Carroll of St. Francisville, Mrs. Ludie
Killingsworth and Mrs. Ethel Killingsworth, both of Pascagoula, Miss.; and two
grandchildren.
