Last Rites Held For Miss Jordan At Welcome Home

Funeral services were held Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Welcome Home Baptist
Church for Miss Rosia Jordan, 76, of Winnfield, Route 4, Hudson Community, who
died at 7 p.m. Saturday in a Winnfield hospital after a lingering illness.

Interment was in the Welcome Home Cemetery in charge of the Southern Funeral
Home.

Officiating at the last rites were the pastor of the Welcom Home Church, Rev.
W. C. Bounds, Rev. Lester Rhymes, and Rev. Vergie Taylor of the Hudson Church
of the Nazarene.

The deceased is survived by her mother, Mrs. J. C. Jordan, who was 96 years of
age in October; one sister, Mrs. Annie White; two brothers, O. A. Jordan and
M. A. Jordan, all of route 4; and a nephew, Hilton Lee, of Columbia.
