Jeff Jordan, 95, Succumbs; Rites Sunday

Funeral services for Jeff Thomas Jordan, 95, of Winnfield, were held at 2 p.m.
Sunday at Southern Funeral Home Chapel here with the Revs. Rayford Higgs
and G. R. Nolan officiating.

Burial was in Jordan Hill Cemetery near Winnfield.

Mr. Jordan died Friday, January 14, 1977 in a local hospital after a lengthy
illness.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church near
Winnfield.

Survivors include four sons, Earnest Jordan of Clarks; Earl Jordan and Davis
Jordan, both of Winnfield, and George Jordan of Joyce; one daughter, Emma
Griffin of Winnfield; one brother, B. J. Jordan of Sikes; one sister, Mrs.
Della Wilcoxon of West Monroe; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren,
and one great great grandchild.
