Mrs. J. R. Jordan, Sikes Native, Dies June 25

Mrs. Flora Dee Jordan, 40, of West Monroe, died Thursday, June 25, 1970 at
Glenwood Hospital after a short illness.

She was a native of Sikes and a sister in law of Sanford Jordan, Sheriff of
Winn Parish.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Hurricane Grove Baptist Church
near Sikes, with the Rev. Edward Smith officiating.  Burial was in the
Hurricane Grove Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Survivors include her husband, John R. Jordan, West Monroe; a son, James Ray
Jordan, West Monroe; a daughter, Pamela Sue Jordan, West Monroe; her father,
Arthur Womack of Sikes; a brother, John M Womack of Ft. Worth, Tex.; a sister,
Mrs. Myrtle Willis of Fr. Worth, Tex.
