Funeral Rites For Mrs. Millie Jordan Held

Mrs. Millie Jordan, 69, of Urania, died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 20,
1970 in a Columbia hospital.

Survivors include two sons, Melvin Jordan of Urania and Lawrence Jordan of
Ft. Worth, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Canuteson (Knutzen?) of Ft.
Worth, Texas, Mrs. Lillian Barber and Mrs. Florence Franklin of Winnfield; one
brother, Ira Weems of Waldo, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Weatherford of
Winnfield and Mrs. Ida Worsham of Georgetown; 12 grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Crossroads Baptist
Church near Tullos with Rev. Doris Dearman officiating, assisted by Rev.
Balcom.  Burial was in the Guin Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral
Home of Winnfield.
