Mrs. Ozie Jordan, Sister of Local Resident, Dies

Funerals services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday for Mrs. Ozie Mae Jordan, 61,
of Clarks, who died late Monday night, January 10, 1972, in the Caldwell 
Hospital after a brief illness.

Services were in the Clarks Baptist Church with the Rev. John Young
officiating.  Burial was in Old Bethel Cemetery near Clarks.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest Jordan of Clarks; three sons, Louis
Jordan of Clarks, Lloyd Jordan of Shreveport, and Melvin Jordan of New
Orleans; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Kenworthy and Miss Louise Jordan, both of
Clarks; three brothers; two sisters, Mrs. Effie McDavid of Baton Rouge and
Mrs. Earlie Mercer of Winnfield; and six grandchildren.
