Funeral Rites For Mrs. Susie A. Jowers Held

Mrs. Susie A. Jowers, 76, of Colfax, died Tuesday, October 21, 1969 in a
Natchitoches hospital.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edna Dubois of Montgomery and Mrs.
Hazel Philen of Bridge City, Texas; one son, Dee D. Jowers of Gibsland; one
sister, Mrs. Louvenia Fredieu of Colfax; seven grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Sardis Baptist Church with
Rev. Roy Davis officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery under direction
of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
