H. Jordan Last rites were held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. for Mrs. William Hill Jordan, widow of the late Rev. William Hill Jordan of the Louisiana Methodist Conference, who died in Chattanooga, Tennessee Wednesday night. Services were conducted in the Kate Lyle West Chapel of the Centenary Methodist Church with the Rev. Bachmay Hodge, pastor officiating. Immediately following the service the body was sent to Arcadia where services were held at the Methodist Church, the Rev. H. A. Gibbs officiating. Interment was in the Arcadia Cemetery under direction of Conger Funeral Home. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Alva E. Swanson of Baton Rouge, and Bess of Tennessee. A brother, Gordie Hagler and two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Faith and Mrs. Logan Stovall, all of Dodson. Those attending the funeral from Dodson were Mrs. Lula Emmons, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Faith, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Stovall, Mr. and Mrs. Gordie Hagler, Mr. and Mrs. K. C. Hightower, and Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Johns.
