T. Neal, Winn Native, Succumbs In Ruston, Oct. 5 J. T. Neal, 60, native of the Wheeling Community, Winn Parish, died at the Ruston Lincoln Hospital, Ruston, Saturday, Oct. 5, after a long illness. He was a former resident of Winnfield where he was an instructor in the Winnfield Trade School. He was the brother of Mrs. Blanche McGinty and of Mrs. J. W. Gunn of Route 1, Montgomery. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. in Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. H. J. Mott and the Rev. H. E. Henderson officiating. Burial was in the Fellowship Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruth Hammonds Neal; a son, Gerald H. Neal of Luling; three daughters, Mrs. Billie Newsom of Ruston, Mrs. S. D. Siddon of Ausburg, Germany, and Mrs. Jerry Green of Springhill; two brothers, J. M. Neal and F. J. Neal of Rt. 1, Montgomery; two sisters, listed above, and nine grandchildren. Attending the funeral of Mr. Neal in Ruston were Mrs. Blanche McGinty and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shaw, Winnfield; Mrs. J. W. Gunn and Murrell Gunn, Montgomery.
