John W. Franks, Winn Native, Dies In Ferriday

John W. Franks, 84, native of Winn Parish, died November 2, 1966 at 2:10 p.m.
in a Ferriday hospital.

He was a retired sawmill worker.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Hixson Brothers Funeral
Chapel with Rev. W. R. Blair officiating.  Interment was in Bolton-Teagle
Cemetery near Winnfield under the direction of Hixson's Funeral Home.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Clercy Goodson of Winnfield and a number of
nieces and nephews.
