Mrs. J. L. Johns Dies; Interment At Zion Hill

Mrs. Dora W. Johns, 41, died Saturday, October 5, 1968 after a short illness. 

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Richard Walton officiating.  Burial was in the Zion Hill
Cemetery at Tannehill.

Survivors are her husband, James L. Johns, two sons, Eddie and Steve Johns,
both of Winnfield, one daughter, Miss LaCue Johns of Winnfield; her mother,
Mrs. Ida Weems of Winnfield; five brothers, Elaska V. Weems of New Orleans,
Ulysses Weems in the Marines, Lloyd T. Weems of Winnfield, Dudley J. Weems of
Winnfield, and Joe H. Weems of the Marines; two sisters, Mrs. Clare Grant of
New Orleans and Mrs. Dorothy Bilgello of Thibodeaux.
