She was a native of Pollock, Grant Parish. Funeral services were held at Hixson Funeral Home, Winnfield, at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, with the Rev. E. P. Bringol and then Rev. E. W. Evans officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery. Surviving are four sons, Walter of Winnfield, Joe of Niceville, Fla., Luther and Elridge Killen, both of New Orleans; one brother, Henry Gilmore, of Sarepta, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Hamlewt, of Simmesport; and 12 grandchildren.
