Mrs. Hattie King, 99, Succumbs; Rites At Union

Hattie C. King, 99, died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, December 3, 1967 in a Winnfield
nursing home after a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Funeral Home
chapel with Rev. Edward Smith officiating.

Burial was at Old Union Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnfield.

She is survived by two sons, Charlie King of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Smead
King of Springhill; a daughter, Mrs. Ella Singleton of Winnfield; 10
grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and one
great-great-great grandchildren.
