A. J. Keaton, 86, Succumbs; Rites To Be Thursday

Andrew J. Keaton, 86, of Winnfield, expired at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, September
12, 1972 at Winnfield General Hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church
with Rev. Calvin Phelps officiating, assisted by Rev. Robert Gage.

Interment, under direction of Southern Funeral Home, will be in Garden of
Memories.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Josie Keaton of Winnfield; two sons, Luther
Keaton of Winnfield and John B. Keaton of Lake Charles; two daughters, Miss
Inez Keaton and Miss Ruby Keaton, both of Winnfield, and one grandson.

Pallbearers will include Bluch Haddox, Bill White, E. J. Buchanan, Harper
Terrill, Don Walsh, Ed Grigg, C. E. "Skinny" Sherwood, and Homer Parker.
